Each quarter the Council presents expert speakers on relevant international topics.  Past speakers have included Theresa Pan Hosley, President, Chinese Reconciliation Project; Laura Lockard presenting research on Kazakhstan and its politics, Carol Schillos, President, Fabric of Life; Scott Hubli, Governance Director, National Democratic Institute for International Affairs and Cynthia Bunton, Asia Regional Program Director International Republican Institute.

H. Ron Masnick, President, Consular Association of Washington - Honorable Consul of Belgium.

Mr. Masnick will present information about the Association and the many countries that are represented in Washington State. He will facilitate a discussion on the many roles that consuls provide not only as outstanding members of our community, but how they help our own citizens access markets and institutions, provide immeasurable assistance to American companies, businesses and travelers.
